Nyasia Chane’l grew up in the small town of Fallsburg in the Catskills region of Upstate New York. Known then as Nyasia Harris she began to express herself creatively at an early age. Through the years she was always singing, dazzling both parishioners in the pews at church and her classmates in the halls of her high school.

[NEW EP] SPANK MASTER BOOGIE- "MUSEUM"| @OMARJEFFERSON

Minneapolis native, Spank Master Boogie debuts his comeback EP, "Museum"

DJ Spank Master Boogie has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada & Mexico. This self-produced DJ enjoys performing in front of live audiences with his catchy wordplay and profound lyrics. In 1996, he won the University of Minnesota’s Hip Hop Olympics MC Battle. His claim to fame was his 1st release entitled “Whom Shall I Fear” in 1998 which ranked him among some of the best lyricists from his hometown and abroad. DJ Spank Master Boogie, also known as Hip Hop Maniac has performed at Ivy League schools as well as numerous bars, clubs, small and large venues. While attending Central State University, he earned his name/moniker from a friend and a position as a college radio DJ. Although he had a short-lived career on the radio, his love for old-school funk, R& B, Rock, and Jazz can be heard in past projects like “Cotton Candy Glowsticks” and “Who is DJ Spank Master Boogie?”
“The person with the least amount of talent is always gonna have to work harder than the more talented artist”
SPANK MASTER BOOGIE
Spank Master Boogie spearheaded a mixtape movement among some of the world’s favorite DJs. He has collaborated with the likes of The Ohio Players, Indigenous Tribe, Eminem, Trenched, DJ B Sqrd, and Yo! Majesty. During his journey in music, SMB has caught the attention of the younger DJs such as DJ Kid Magic Rock out of Columbus Ohio, who has a great ear for mixing as well. The millennial DJs listened to how he spun his set and gave him the approval. This inspired S.M.B. to continue bringing more music out and enjoy life while traveling.
Recently, Spank Master Boogie’s released his latest 14-track compilation titled “Museum” showcases music as audible art. The album starts out with a song entitled Hashtag MC. The emcee raps about "Medicinal Music" and lines like that there is a haze of clouds shadowed down on the real emcees in this world. The project features producers such as; DJ Kid Magic Rock (UMC's), MF Love, DJ J5, Ricardo Del Rio and Tonic Man (Richbumz). Also, it features the multi-talented L.A. painter/producer, Lisa Amaro, who contributed to the Gray Skies song on a rainy day in South Beach Miami.
“When delivering content to real hip hop heads, it's difficult because there is so much commercialized materialistic following in hip-hop, says Spank Master. It's hard to separate great emcees from pop stars, sometimes the message of being positive gets lost in the bright glittery lights of wanting to be famous.”
Spank Master Boogie is a seasoned hip-hop emcee who focuses on lyricism at the highest level while delivering psychedelic vocabulary and witty punchlines. He is definitely highlighting hip-hop - the way we remember.

[MUSIC] REEL Smoovv - GROOVY IN A HOOPTIE - @IAMREELSMOOVV

Minneapolis Hip-Hop Artist, REEL Smoovv teams up with the crooner, Traiveon Dunlap on debut single, "Groovy in a Hooptie"

When you're a rebellious, educated and enlightened liberator, the world is at your mercy. This saying holds true for Minnesota rap artist, REEL Smoovv, born as Johnny Watkins.

In Minneapolis, there's a unique brew of artists including the late Prince, The Time, and The Soul Asylum; among others. As an artist, Smoovv has a rich history to look upon and encapsulate everything great about the Minneapolis Sound. As a child, listening to R&B legends like The Temptations, Sam Cooke, and Frankie Lymon gave him an insight of great music.

"As I got older and involved in Hip-hop, I grew fond of artists like Nelly, DMX & Outkast. Outside of hip-hop, it was Bob Marley, Peter Tosh & Erykah Badu."

In 2013, REEL Smoovv's hip-hop career began with a rap collective called "Flood The Basement" and featured on their “Whatchu Want” project. Later that year, he released two solo projects entitled “The REEL Revolution” and “REEL Smoovv's Summer Jams.” Shortly after "Flood The Basement" disbanded in 2014, REEL Smoovv joined the Mill City Collective & released his third solo project entitled, "REEL Smoovv's 31st Groovvs." This album helped identify him as a real artist with crafty metaphoric content. In 2015, the "Deeply Rooted Tribe" was formed along with two other Mill City Collective artists (FreshVs Sellers & RAW Toon). The group delivered the compilation project, "Low Eye Rise" which featured the lead single, "Tribe Supply." Since that release, REEL Smoovv has been working on a new project with the Tribe; as well as his solo project.

"Hip Hop has the most prominent platform out of all music genres & not enough people use it to promote positivity or even realize the power they have as an artist to shift the dynamic of things."

As an artist with direction, Smoovv has opened up for mainstream artists like The Migos, Curren$y, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Nappy Roots, 50 Cent, Naughty By Nature, The Game and Krayzie Bone; just to name a few. REEL Smoovv possesses characteristics of a self-effacing, reserved, laid back individual with an associates degree. But, with a microphone in hand, he takes on the stage with lyrical content and commands the attention of those in his presence. His latest single "Groovy In A Hooptie," proves that he is a contender in the hip-hop world.

All in all, REEL Smoovv is ready to deliver his message and help change people lives. Let the revolution begin!

[VIDEO] ALYSSA COLÒN – "I’M GUCCI" | @REALALYSSACOLON

Teen Sensation, Alyssa Colon makes her mark with New Single, "I'm Gucci"

Long Island, New York is home to 16-year- old singer Alyssa Colón. Since beginning her musical journey at age three, Alyssa has never stopped singing to her own beat. When asked about the inspiration behind her decision to pursue a musical career, Alyssa reflects on her relationship with late grandfather. A true musician himself, her grandfather would often play guitar, and eventually taught Alyssa how to sing along. This special bond is significant in Alyssa’s career, as it paved the way for her future in music. As Alyssa’s grandfather continued to coach her, she began to learn the fabric of her own sound. I continued to grow as a singer, and it made me want to do music, said Alyssa. As she kept perfecting her craft, she also ventured into playing instruments, specifically with piano.

This is a true reflection of the artist’s commitment to exceeding any boundaries, as the singer does not believe in limiting herself in her career. Music means so much to me, said Alyssa. So many of my favorite artists, like Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, have an impact on their fans through their words, and I want to put that kind of impact on others. The 16-year- old makes it her mission to be somebody in this industry that fans and listeners can relate to and rely on for support. Through spreading light and positivity, she continues to do just that.

Looking to the future, the singer hopes to put a lasting impact on people who come to her music. She plans to go the extra mile to inspire people in the process, and do so much more than merely releasing music just to do so. “I love music and being an artist in general. Putting out music is a different story, and though I plan to do that, I also want to help people,” said Alyssa. Through the positive message delivered through her meaningful lyrics, she hopes to brighten up someone’s day, day in and day out. Whether it is on tour or at a stop along the way, Alyssa’s desire is for her fans to feel comfortable relying on her through life experiences. Her musical style, which includes pop mixed with a RnB feel, is extremely versatile.

Her overall artistic persona is something that sets her apart from the rest. “My music is going to be different," said Alyssa. I want to do a mix of things that other artists aren’t currently doing. I want to bring back the RnB vibe, and I feel I can do that with my voice and style of music." There are major things in the work for this talented singer, and the sky is the absolute limit. Her current single, “I’m Gucci” is a teenage girl’s perspective of being very confident with goals.

Alyssa is serving bossiness on this track and is warning her peers that are hanging out, that she has a totally different agenda. The hook ” I’m Gucci, I’m Bougie, and I can be a little snooty, Don’t test me, Don’t mess with me, but you will see a lot of press about me!” Here I am making my mark, selling hits and I’m gonna to spark.” is very catchy.

Alyssa is definitely bound for stardom with this hit and will be serving more in the near future. We won’t be letting the cat out of the bag. You’re just going be in suspense until she drops another one with a very notable artist in the hip-hop game. Stay tuned for major things in the works for this talented singer.

[MUSIC] DELADRE - "MESSAGES" | @DELADREE

LA Recording Artist, Deladre delivers "Messages"

From humble teenaged beginnings experimenting with digital audio workstations, Deladre soon found music to be his passion. Joining his first indie label before graduating High School, his drive and commitment to his craft and the community have lead Deladre to collaborate and work with the top tier artists in the scene.
The young Los Angeles based Rap/R&B artist is persistent and motivated to give back to the supporters and followers that inspired him in the first place; Deladre “Blow A Bag” has over 2.5 million streams, backed up by recent releases “Stuntin” and “Messages”.

 Deladre

"Messages" is the unique track produced by ‘Superstaar Beats.’ Unlike typical beats, it's perception isn't a usual common hype track with boomy bass, or loud echoed claps to entertain listeners ears mildly. It’s a look into Deladre’s ever-changing infrastructure. It speaks to his classic yet glamorous songwriting with a mix of relevant pre/post-production techniques. This method helps the artist's lyrics be bolder and hold more weight to the concepts in song to become more influential on the track.
The track, "Messages" hit the circuit back in August 2017 after Dre and Arkhitect Beatz - The Legendary Duo’ -met up for another magical session. The duo has not recorded since Deladre's hit single “Blow A Bag” in the same Hollywood studio. After the song dropped on SoundCloud, the buzz was slow, but they knew his track's improvement would eventually gather enough steam. Driving an adequate amount of buzz with practically minimal conversation boosts the newly-found upcoming artist's social media handles.

What's Next?

Deladre anticipated an even more significant buzz would come into the new year of 2018. His determination could make him a possible candidate to become the next major label signee or independent giant in the industry. In just five months of the release date in 2017, “Messages” has now over 650,000 SoundCloud plays. Along with the growing 6500 streams on Spotify, "Messages" continues to increase. The streams have helped him gain recognition for the song and get the shine he deserves.
"Messages" is generating noise across the worldwide web. It is far beyond most hyped up rap songs that you’ll skip on your playlists, or change the channel on the radio. Whether you hear it on the radio or in the club, it amps you up! Make sure that you support by downloading it on your favorite digital music outlet. After picking up from Episode 1 and 2, A.O. unveils a new album Episode 3:  A Force to Be Reckoned With to be released on December 31st. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformation to reach this point as a hip-hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. Quickly, he went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.
Shortly thereafter, there was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. The first album didn't meet the financial success expected. So, the Agency Operative held back on releasing more projects. The first one could’ve been the last. The reason for creating another project would be - AO does not give up so quickly. Even though "Episode 1" did not reach financial success, the album did give him a better perception of how the music industry works.
A.O.
Another reason for putting out another project is that the graduate of TCNJ in 2009 has not seen much change in the economy. The job market continues to be limited to job opportunities. Not much has changed from the first album in 2011 to the current album in 2015. After graduation, A.O. continues to work temporary jobs with no offers for a permanent position. He decided to take his life in a new direction.
From the beginning, AO went by the stage name, King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. With that being said, the new name is  “The A.G.E.N.C.Y Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters and the name of the label. In 2010, the label launched, and the first single was “So Hot.”

What's next?

With seven years into the game, the current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. The third installment of his discography "Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With" will be released. "Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With" and will be available on Itunes and Google Play is available.
As an agent on a mission, the journey will continue to fulfill the mission statement.  Connect with A.O. to be one of the first to download his latest project.
